A Floating ad is an out-of-banner and high impact ad that 'floats' above content and effectively draws users’ attention for 10 seconds. Optionally, after the main floating element finishes playing, a 5 second floating reminder or a permanent leave behind banner (separate inline position needs to be booked) can used. |

How it works:
- On page load, the floating element loads and plays over the page content for 10 seconds.
- After 10 seconds, the floating ad disappears. A 200x200 reminder may show for an additional 5 seconds, to be positioned at Yahoo!'s discretion.
- If a permanent landing spot is used, a replay option may be included.

Leave Behind and Landing Spot
- A landing spot and a leave behind (reminder) are optional and mutually exclusive. A floating ad can only be in one of three formats: floating element only, floating element + leave behind, or floating element + landing spot.
- Leave behind may remain on the page for an additional 5 seconds. It will be positioned at the bottom right of the browser window.
- Leave behind can be up to 200x200 and must be within the total 100k file size (5 seconds max).
- A separate tag for the landing spot must be supplied along with the tag for the floating element when a landing spot is desired. Landing spots are essentially standard banners and should follow the standard specs.
- Landing spot is not frequency capped.
- The size of landing spot is outside the total 100k file size and its limit is outlined in the standard specs.
- The landing spot is not included in the price for the floating element. Talk to your sales representative to ensure all required inventory is planned.
